Our New House!
We have finally moved, unpacked (mostly), and looovvvveee our new home! The space is so much more comfortable, WE HAVE A BEDROOM AGAIN!, Annalise has a yard to play in, and the babies have ample room to crawl around in, and soon walk and run around in. We feel so blessed by what we have, especially with the economy the way that it is. Erica and I had job interviews the day after we arrived here in Iron Mountain, MI and we were both hired on the spot. Erica was also given a 4,000 dollar sign on bonus that she will pocket in spurts through the year. We made the move without spending any of our own money because of the gifts that we were given from friends, family, and our dear brothers and sisters from our Church, Twin Cities Grace Fellowship (who we will miss dearly!). We could not be happier the way things have turned out. We love the quietness that this house brings and the area in which it is in. We are in Iron Mountain, but the house sits tucked away on a dead end road where there are no city lights so we can see the stars and moon as clear as the sun in the daytime. There is so much potential to remodel this house if Erica and I decide to buy it in a few years, but that all depends on the owners of the house, when I'm done with the nursing program (we're praying that I get accepted for Fall of 2009), and how the housing market is at that point. We have been told by numerous friends of ours up here that we would be crazy not to buy this house. It's wonderful to live in. And I can't wait unbtil this summer when I can finlly do some yard work!!!! Anyways, that's that. I'm going to put pictures of the house up even though they don't do it justice. Being at the house and seeing it with your own eyes makes all the difference. It did for us anyway when we finally drove up to it and walked around. Enjoy them, leave comments, and if you are ever up our way, let us know and we have plenty of room for ya!

This is the view from the hill up by our shed...
I'm standing on the back porch looking at the lot next to us...yeah that is part of the house too!!

This is the loft above the garages. It needs to be finished and much more but it is really nice for storage if we need it right now.
This is the third garage which we don't use, but we could for more storage if needed. In the future, we might make this into our workout room and finish it for that reason.
This is the two car garage and they are connected. The steps on the left lead into the kitchen area
This is the garage standing on those steps by the kitchen...
This is the garage in the basement that wasn't used after the owners attached the massive 3 car garage to their house. This was going to be made into a family room or a game room...
Same garage, different angle...

Mine and Erica's wirlpool bathtub downstairs. The owners are 6 feet and 6 foot 4 inches tall so they got an extra long tub when they lived here. It's nice!
Here is the whole bathroom...
This is our bedroom....we still have some work to do to put some pictures up and some other things to make it more homey, but it's still nice having a bedroom again. And when we decided to rent the house, it wasn 't even dry walled yet! it has come a long way...
This is the view of our bedroom from the the bed...I told Erica, that now we have an excuse to get another HD 32 inch TV, since we are pretty far from the little TV we have... :)
This will be our office downstairs...as you can see, it needs work...but that is all for the future...we are just going to make it liveable. I have a nice desk from Josh (my brother in law).We are going to buy a carpet remnant to fit the space...Erica is going to put a big curtain to cover that wall and it will come out pretty good for the time being.
And here is the living room from the back couch...
Here is the other side...
This is the dinning area, looking out from the kitchen
This is the upstairs bathroom, that Anna uses mostly...atleast she likes the pink sink :)
This is the babies room...

And the kitchen
Like I said, the pictures don't do the house justice for how much room it actually is, but we love it and feel so blessed right now to be living here. I hope you enjoyed these. Sorry it has taken me so long to put them up, but we don't have internet yet. We're working on that . Take care and leave some comments!
